We use Google Cloud Vision for optical character recognition (OCR) when you upload documents for text extraction. Uploaded document images are sent to Google for processing and are subject to Google's data handling policies.
We use OpenAI services (Whisper and TTS) for audio transcription, narration generation, and read-along timing synchronization. Content sent to OpenAI for processing is subject to OpenAI's data usage policies.
Account authentication and subscription billing are managed through MemberPress on BooksAndGuidesPro.com. Your account credentials and membership data are shared between BoingyBooks and BooksAndGuidesPro.com for single sign-on functionality.
