Request account deletion

You can request deletion of your BoingyBooks account and associated personal data through BooksAndGuidesPro support. You do not need to sign in here or reinstall the app.

If the button does not open your email app, write to admin@booksandguidespro.com with the subject BoingyBooks account deletion.

1. Send the request from the email address associated with your BoingyBooks account when possible.
2. Tell us whether you want to delete the entire account or specific reading data, such as notes, highlights, bookmarks, or reading history.
3. We may ask you to verify account ownership before acting. Do not send your password, payment card details, or a sign-in code.

Requests are handled by our support team. Opening this page or its email link does not delete anything. We respond within 30 days. Our policy is to delete or anonymize personal account data within 30 days after a verified deletion request, except for records we must retain for legal, accounting, or regulatory purposes.

What account deletion covers

A verified request covers your account profile and sign-in access, private reading positions, notes, highlights, bookmarks, and associated synchronization history. Removing your account also ends your access to its library. We will explain any information that must be retained and the reason.

Transaction records needed for accounting or legal obligations may be retained. Books you published that other people already acquired may remain available to those readers; account deletion does not remove their existing access. Your personal information is removed from public-facing author profiles as described in our privacy policy.

Copies on your device

Signing out removes downloaded books and the saved sign-in, but does not delete your account. The companion app keeps encrypted notes waiting to synchronize so the same account can recover them after signing in again. Removing the app removes that local backup. A server-side deletion request cannot erase a copy from a device that remains offline.

If you only want to remove an individual note, highlight, bookmark, or downloaded book, use that item's remove option in the reader or Library. This does not delete your account.
